RAN Implementation Manager

Responsibilities

  1. To support the projects with Implementation processes for RAN Implementation 2G/3G/LTE
  2. To ensure Quality awareness among all personnel in the project
  3. To Support the project with tools and instruments required for the implementation of various RAN systems.
  4. To monitor the use of Implementation processes in the projects and initiate improvement projects if necessary.
  5. To monitor effective usage of implementation personnel and coordinate with project to achieve targets.
  6. To be responsible for resource planning for project and utilization.
  7. To be responsible for the measurements of the process and analyze the data
  8. To deploy ASP teams as per project requirement and monitor their performance
  9. Prepare RAN nodes (2G/3G/LTE) installation plans, Integration plans, execution, check, AT & verify all requirements.
  10. Coordinate with Field Integration Engineers, TX, RF various functions and ASPs on telecom implementation requirements. 
  11. Ensure that the ASP works are in accordance with the required timeline and work quality.
  12. Ensures that safety guidelines are enforced during implementation.
  13. Prepares activity reports & coordinates activities with the Project manager as required.
  14. Responsible for managing assigned project or projects as per contract or Project Specification.
  15. Coordinate with all disciplines / functions involved in the implementation and ensure smooth flow of activities between different groups and the ASPs.
  16. Able to identify and solve complicated issues and concerns that require critical analysis.
  17. Prepare Acceptance Procedures towards Integration Engineers & ASP’s fulfilling the checklist prior to Customer’s acceptance.
  18. Compile Installation, Integration and Acceptance report status to the Project Manager.
  19. To develop the competence of the implementation Leads, supervisors & Field Integration Engineers in order to deliver high quality of the implemented systems.

Competence Requirement

  1. Bachelor or equivalent degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering as minimum qualification.
  2. A minimum of 8-10 years of experience and at least 4-5 years in Management Function in a Telecom company.
  3. Good knowledge of computers in office environment.
  4. Very good oral and written communication skills in English, a rating of 6 on a scale of 10.
  5. Will be trained on any new release related to RAN as well as Management/ Quality tools/ ISO 9000 requirements & OMM.
